‘In Treacherous Waters’ is the title of the fourth book in the Ian Vaughan series which takes my hero to sea once more, this time to act as a vital link in an operation to get an informant to safety. As with Vaughan’s previous experiences a simple plan is foiled by the others seeking to protect their own interests. The term treacherous waters normally refers to rock strewn coastal areas, and like most other sailors I have come across several such places that strike fear into one, but as readers of this book will discover even a quiet cove and anchorage is not without danger.
If this was not enough for Vaughan to deal with he finds that there still remains scores to be settled following the coup events in ‘Shadows in Sunshine’.
With the manuscript now complete I await the results of the first proof read step in the publication process.
